Getting started
- Get a licence (€20 once per server), then add Vaznor to your server. It doesn't ask for Administrator, only what its commands need.
- Activate it with
,activateand your licence key. - In Server Settings → Roles, drag the Vaznor role above the roles it should manage. It can't moderate anyone whose top role is higher than its own.
- Type
,helpto see everything it can do.
The prefix is ,, or you can mention the bot instead (@Vaznor help). Change it for your server with ,prefix set ;.
How commands work
<arg>is required and[arg]is optional. You can give members, roles and channels as mentions, IDs or names.- Type a module on its own, like
,skullboard, to see its commands. Addsettingsto see how it's set up. - Every command is also a slash command. Ones with subcommands keep their name, like
/logs settings, and their own action gets a name too (/logs set). The rest are grouped by topic:/info userinfo,/mod case,/roleplay hug. Each command's slash form is on the commands page. - Anything destructive asks you to confirm first.
- Make shortcuts for things you type a lot. After
,alias add sb skullboard settings,,sbdoes the same thing. - Permissions are checked in the channel you're changing, so locking
#stafffrom#generalneeds permission in#staff.
Setting things up
A few commands for each of the main features. For every option, type ,help and the command name.
Skullboard
Reposts messages once they get enough reactions. You can run a ⭐ starboard alongside it.
,skullboard channel #skullboard # turns it on: 3 💀 by default ,skullboard threshold 5 ,skullboard emoji ☠️ ,skullboard ignore #staff ,skullboard settings # current setup and any problems
Welcome messages
Say hi when someone joins, in up to five channels. Use plain text or an embed, with variables like {user.mention}.
,welcome add #welcome Welcome to {guild.name}, {user.mention}!
,welcome test # send it as if you just joined
,welcome selfdestruct #welcome 30 # delete it after 30 seconds
,goodbye add #goodbye {user.name} just left.
,boost add #boosts Thanks for boosting, {user.mention}!
Logs
Pick what gets logged and where it goes.
,logs all #logs # every kind in one channel ,logs messages #message-logs # or split them up ,logs voice off ,logs ignore #staff # don't log edits and deletes here ,logs settings
Levels
People get 15 to 25 XP for a message, at most once a minute. Reward roles can't have mod or admin permissions.
,levels enable
,levels channel #level-ups # or current, dm, off
,levels message GG {user.mention}, you're level **{level}**!
,levels reward 10 @Active
,rank
,leaderboard
Economy and shop
Each server has its own currency. Members earn it from daily rewards, work, crime and chatting, and spend it in your shop, on rings and at the tables. Admins can see every change to someone's money for 60 days.
,economy config currency gems # also emoji, daily, work, maxbet and more ,shop add 5000 VIP ,shop edit VIP role @VIP ,shop edit VIP type role # given as soon as it's bought ,shop edit VIP duration 30d # taken back after 30 days ,economy config gambling off ,economy log @user # recent changes to their money
Marriage and family
Members propose with a ring bought in the economy (free when it's off), adopt each other, and see how anyone is related.
,buyring diamond ,marry @mira # they have two minutes to say yes ,adopt @kai ,tree # the family as a picture ,relationship @kai @lou ,economy config children 5 # children per person
Stats and cards
Message, voice and join counts turn into image cards. Only counts are kept, never what anyone wrote.
,serverstats # the last 30 days at a glance ,activity @user # one member's messages, voice time and channels ,activity top voice 7d # or messages, 1d, 30d, all ,modstats leaderboard # staff ranked by actions ,activity ignore #bots # leave spammy channels out ,cards theme light # dark is the default
Hacked accounts
Hacked accounts spam scam links everywhere. A honeypot channel catches them on the first message, and fake permissions let staff moderate through Vaznor without real ban rights a hacker could abuse.
,honeypot add #dont-type-here softban # or ban, kick, jail, timeout ,fakepermissions add @Mods ban_members, kick_members # server owner only ,fakepermissions list
Bump reminders
Vaznor notices DISBOARD's "Bump done" reply, thanks the bumper and reminds everyone two hours later.
,bumpreminder channel #bump ,bumpreminder message @Bumpers time to bump! # role pings work here ,bumpreminder autolock on # block /bump until it's due
Tickets
Members press a button to open a private channel with your staff. When it closes, the transcript goes to your log channel.
,ticket setup #support # posts the Open a ticket panel ,ticket role @Staff # who can see and answer tickets ,ticket logs #ticket-logs # where transcripts go ,ticket close
VoiceMaster
Voice channels that appear when someone joins and disappear when everyone leaves.
,voicemaster setup # category, join channel and panel ,voicemaster name {user.display_name}'s room ,voicemaster limit 5 ,voice lock # members manage their own channel
Antinuke and antiraid
Antinuke punishes anyone who mass-bans, mass-deletes or hands out dangerous permissions. Only the owner and antinuke admins can change it.
,antinuke enable ,antinuke punishment ban # or kick, strip ,antinuke whitelist @trusted-bot ,antiraid enable ,antiraid massjoin 10 10 # 10 joins in 10 seconds ,antiraid age 7 # minimum account age in days
Automod filter
Deletes invites, links, banned words, caps, spam, mass mentions and emoji spam. Anyone with Manage Messages is skipped.
,filter invites on ,filter links on ,filter whitelist youtube.com ,filter spam on 5 5 # 5 messages in 5 seconds ,filter action timeout 60 # or delete, warn
Embed scripts
Welcome, goodbye and boost messages, autoresponders, sticky messages, level-up messages and ,embed all accept an embed script. Start with {embed}, separate parts with $v, and split the values inside a part with &&. Every part is optional.
{embed}$v{title: text}$v{description: text}$v{color: #ffffff}
$v{author: name && icon url && link}$v{footer: text && icon url}
$v{thumbnail: url}$v{image: url}$v{field: name && value && inline}
$v{button: label && https://link}$v{content: text above the embed}$v{timestamp}
For example:
,embed #rules {embed}$v{title: Rules}$v{description: Be kind. No spam.}$v{color: #ffffff}
Use ,embed preview to check a script before sending it, and ,embed copy to turn an existing message into a script you can edit. Or design it in the embed builder and copy the script from there.

Permissions
These are the 23 permissions Vaznor asks for. Administrator isn't one of them.
If it's missing one in a channel, it tells you which.
FAQ
Vaznor doesn't respond.
Check the prefix with a mention (@Vaznor), and make sure it can see the channel and send messages there. Admins can stop it from answering in a channel with ,ignore, so check ,ignore list too.
It won't ban, jail or give a role.
Its role must be above the member or role it acts on, and so must yours. Drag the Vaznor role higher in Server Settings → Roles.
Does it save messages?
No. Snipe keeps the last deleted and edited messages in memory for up to two hours, and you can limit it to moderators or turn it off with ,snipesettings. See the privacy policy for what is stored.
Can I turn off commands I don't use?
Yes. ,disable switches off a command for everyone but admins, and ,enable brings it back.
