Support
Vaznor is made and looked after by one developer, so the person who answers is the person who wrote it.
Where to ask
- Discord: the Vaznor server is the quickest way to get help and hear about updates.
- Email: [email protected], for billing, refunds, data requests and anything private.
Questions are usually answered within a day or two. There's no guaranteed response time, but billing problems and outages always come first.
Before you ask
- It doesn't respond: mention it (
@Vaznor) to check the prefix, and make sure it can see the channel and send messages there. Also check, ignore list. - It won't ban, jail or give a role: its role must be above the member or role it acts on. Drag the Vaznor role higher in Server Settings → Roles.
- A command says a permission is missing: it names the exact permission. Give it to the Vaznor role, or to the channel.
- Something went wrong: the reply includes an error code. Mention it when you ask, and say what you typed.
The docs cover setup for every module, and ,help <command> explains any command in Discord.
Setup service · €30
Rather not configure it yourself? Vaznor can be set up in your server for you: moderation roles, the jail and log channels, automod filters, antinuke and antiraid, welcome messages, tickets, levels and role menus, whichever your server needs. You get a short summary of what was set up and how to change it.
- Get a licence for the server first. Setup is on top of it.
- Open a ticket in the Vaznor server and say what your server is for and what you want from Vaznor.
- Agree the plan in the ticket, then pay €30 (including any VAT) through the link you're sent there.
- Give temporary access: a role for our account with Manage Server, Manage Channels and Manage Roles while the work is done, which you remove afterwards. You'll never be asked for Administrator, your password or your bot token.
New commands, your own branded bot, or setups across several servers are custom work, below.
Custom work
For Vaznor under your own bot name and avatar, new commands, or setups across several servers, describe what you need (your server size, what it should do, by when). You'll get a written quote listing what's included, the price, the timeline and any monthly hosting before anything is charged.
